During home learning we are using the internet more and more to support us. The internet, if used responsibly, is a fantastic tool providing us with a wealth of education at a click of a button, however, some very unkind, scary people also use the internet to try and trick us into unsafe territories. To ensure we are safe online please make sure you have parental locks, parental supervision and know that site/game your child is on is age appropriate.
Below are some websites that can help you stay safe on the web.
· Internet matters - for support for parents and carers to keep their children safe online
· South West Grid for Learning - for support for parents and carers to keep their children safe online
· Net-aware - for support for parents and careers from the NSPCC
· Parent info - for support for parents and carers to keep their children safe online
· Thinkuknow - for advice from the National Crime Agency to stay safe online · UK Safer Internet Centre - advice for parents and carers
